Domenico Mangione, also known as Nico has been working the fields of his farm in Puglia for decades, devoting himself to cultivating vegetables vines, cereals and breeding animals.  2005 he decided to plant 6 hectares of Primitivo and focused on producing all natural wines. Currently, the winery has grown to include Verdeca and Fiano wines.  All grapes are carefully sourced and sorted from local vineyards which are never use chemicals and the wineries are "treated with respect" and without the use of clarifying agents and stabilizing yeasts.
